The best-selling supersport Kawasaki Ninja 250R is distributed to Vietnam in Nov. 20 through Phuong Mai Company with price under US10,000.

 Ninja 250R is the major name in the model list of Kawasaki big motorbikes as it plays the key role of best-selling model for 20 years and extremely important for Kawasaki. This little pocket rocket was introduced in 1986 and kept the sales remarkably through many years.

Kawasaki is updating Ninja 250R not only a better motorcycle for experience riders, but also to keep it users friendly for new riders. Kawasaki research that fully 62 percent of Ninja 250R customers are first-time buyers, and a third are women. Some 42 percent are 16 to 29 years of age, and 42 percent of all Ninja 250R buyers have six months or less of riding experience. Therefore, Motorcyclist Magazine selected Ninja 250 R is the best model for youth.
In the Ninja line, 250R is belonging to segment of GP serie. Styling/Appearance of the all-new bodywork is definitely sporty, yet strongly reminiscient of Ninja line with the new dual headlight and tailight.
Ninja 250 R is popular in the world as compact, lightweight, easy to ride and affordable. The low seat height of 77 cm make for easy, low-effort steering so it excels in easy cornering. It offers a pleasant, upright seating position, siding forward the slanting two-pieces seat which riders can choose the optional seat cover if riding solo.
The overall length of bike is 2,085 mm, height 1,110 mm, width 714 mm, wheel base 1,400 mm together with the lightweight of 170 kgs make comfortable when parking. The bike equipped a taut suspension, especially the new 37mm telescopic front fork and uni-trak rear fork with five preload adjustment. At each end of the single petal disc brake (a 290 mm up front and a 220 mm rear) is gripped by a two-piston caliper.
In the new ’08 Ninja 250R version distributed by Phuong Mai Company, engine is updating with the liquid-cooled, 249 cc., DOHC, parallel twin new heads with reshaped intake and exhaust ports, and more compact combustion chambers, all in the interest of enhanced midrange. The four new valves per cylinder get thinner heads to reduce reciprocating mass, and to increase flow. The camshafts are new with increased lift and duration. The six-spedd transmission gets new sheft splines, and the twin 30 mm Keihin carburetor carry revised jetting. The radiator is new, as is the 2-into-1 exhaust system. Through the fuel tank looks smaller, it holds the same 18 liters as its predecessor.
